Job Information

As part of an interdisciplinary, agile team that drives innovation at LGT, you have the opportunity to actively shape our digitalization strategy and thus our future in the business2business area. Over the next few years, we want to create a truly personal client experience with cutting-edge digital services and products for our stakeholders in the intermediary business.

• Line management of developers and engineers working in the online-banking agile teams
• Guide the development team consisting of internal and external developers, by coaching and developing the team and its individuals
• Ensure code ownership and quality delivery of our online banking web-application as part of a global team
• Implement the software architecture into detailed design, code, unit testing, and performance optimization on both backend and frontend
• Maintain software code by adding enhancements, adjusting to changes, as well as identifying and fixing root causes of application defects

Requirements

• Higher technical education (bachelor or master’s degree) in computer science or similar
• At least 5 years experience in full-stack development of web-applications
• Good understanding of architecture principles and design patterns
• Analytical skills to draft development methodologies in a variety of different technologies
• Practical experience in agile ways of working
• Practical experience and general banking knowledge advantageous
• Team player, resilient personality with excellent communication skills and social competence
• Customer-oriented thinking, along with a strong drive for success and a high level of commitment

We offer this position at our locations in Bendern (LI) or Zurich (CH). However, the main location of development and main part of the team is in Bendern, which makes it desirable for the Zurich option to be physically on site (jour fix) in Bendern at least once a week.
